Welcome to our community space
A building can never be summed up by its façades. Behind the Art Deco lines and curves drawn by Marius Boyer, the Immeuble Assayag is above all a lived-in place: since 1930, generations of residents have brought its three towers to life in the heart of Casablanca. This page is dedicated to them — and it is open to you. We invite you to share your experiences, your anecdotes and your accounts of life at the Assayag. Every contribution, however modest, helps to build a strong and close-knit community, and enriches the collective memory of the building.
Share your memories and anecdotes
Do you live in the building? Did you grow up in it, work in it, or simply live through a memorable moment there? We are interested in your story. Every form of account is welcome:
- Stories and anecdotes: a scene from daily life, a childhood memory of the stairwells bathed in light by the great glazed screens, an encounter between neighbours;
- Photographs: family pictures, views over the city from the terraces, architectural details captured over the years;
- Documents: correspondence, personal archives, anything that sheds light on the history of the place.
To send us your contributions, use the contact form or write to us at info@assayag.ma. With your agreement, your stories and your images may be published on the site, so that the memory of the Assayag continues to be written in many voices.

You will find the building's latest stories in the news section, and do not hesitate to respond, to add to an account or to offer your own perspective by writing to us. On Instagram, the account @lassayag1 keeps the building alive in pictures: follow it and share your reactions.
