Thirty-five photographs of the two days of the “Poetic Labyrinth”, the showcase of the 2nd Shaeirat Biennale hosted by the Assayag building. Five bilingual Arabic/French poetry performances, carried by emerging Moroccan poets in duo with actors — and an audience that moves from one room to the next.
They show what the building offers a performance: the vaulted corridor of the basements, flats with bare plaster, rooms with tall windows and terrazzo floors, the arch of a stairwell, and the terrace from which Casablanca is visible. The account of these two days is in the article in Actualités.
