Bousbir, the exhibition by Hamza Boussedra — multidisciplinary artist, film director and advertising creative — devoted to the remains of an emblematic Casablanca district now slowly fading away, was presented at the Résidence Assayag. These images were taken on 28 November 2024.
The wall text is signed by Salma Barmani. In a white corridor, the photographs of Bousbir, printed on transparent supports, hang along the wall. Further on, in a room of raw concrete, the centrepiece: images laid beneath a shattered windscreen, directly on the floor. Finally, an installation brings together a circle of light cast by a torch and wing mirrors scattered beneath a photograph of motorbikes on a beach.
